Each year, The Black Church & HIV recognizes Day of Unity, a day on which faith leaders across the country unite to preach from the pulpit about HIV/AIDS as a social justice issue. A cornerstone of the initiative, Day of Unity is designed to inspire and encourage pastors to address the HIV epidemic in their communities, reduce stigma, and create a network of knowledge and action around HIV as social justice issue.
